1. The short version
Takes effect immediately, in one click, without writing to anyone. Pro keeps working until the period you have already paid for runs out.
A billing mistake — a double charge, a charge after you cancelled — is put right in full. There is no cooling-off window for a change of mind.
The rest of this page is the detail behind those two boxes: what cancelling does to the period you have already paid for, and the list of charges that come back whenever they come to light.
2. What this policy covers
Tabruns Pro, which is a digital subscription — software delivered over the internet, billed monthly or annually, renewing until it is cancelled. There is nothing physical to send back, and nothing to return before a refund can be paid.
The free plan is not covered because nothing is charged for it. It needs no account, no card and no cancellation: uninstalling the extension ends it.
3. Cancelling a subscription
Open the side panel, go to Settings → Plan, and press Manage billing — that opens Creem’s billing page, where Cancel is one click. It takes effect at once and needs no approval from us. You can also write to support@tabruns.com and we will do it for you.
- Nothing is charged again. Cancelling stops the renewal. That is what it is for.
- You keep what you paid for. Pro carries on to the last day of the current period — the rest of the month on monthly, the rest of the year on annual. It is not cut off the moment you cancel.
- There is no cancellation fee, no notice period, and no minimum term to serve out first.
- Nothing is deleted. At the end of the period the account drops to the free plan. Threads, saved details and settings are untouched — they live in your browser, not with us.
- Coming back is a new subscription, at whatever the price is then.
Cancelling on its own does not return money already taken. That is the next section.
4. There is no cooling-off window
A charge is not returned because you changed your mind, and that is true of the first charge and of every renewal. There is no trial-length window to get inside, which also means there is no date to miss.
Cancel instead, and cancel as early as you like: it stops every future charge on the spot, costs nothing, and Pro still runs out the period you have already paid for. A renewal you do not want is prevented by cancelling before it, not undone after it — the reminder that matters is the renewal date, which is on every invoice and on Creem’s billing page.
Two things are unaffected by any of this, and both have their own section below: a charge that was a mistake of ours (§5), and whatever your local consumer law gives you (§8).
5. Charges that always come back
These are refunded whenever they come to light, however long ago they happened, because not one of them is a change of mind — each is a charge that should never have been taken:
- A duplicate charge — the same period billed twice.
- A charge after you cancelled. If the cancellation did not take, that is our fault and the charge goes back in full.
- A charge you did not make. Tell us and we refund it and close the subscription while we work out how it happened.
- A period we could not serve. If Pro was unavailable, or a Pro feature was broken, for a meaningful stretch of a period you paid for, we refund that stretch — pro rata, or the whole charge where the whole period was affected.
- A price rise you were not told about. Increases are emailed 30 days ahead. Any that reached your card without that notice is refunded.
6. How to raise a charge
Write to support@tabruns.com from the address you bought with, or naming it. Say which charge you mean — the date and amount is plenty. No form and no phone call. Say what happened rather than making a case: the list above is the whole of what comes back, so the facts decide it.
- A person replies within two business days, and says yes or no rather than leaving it open.
- A refund we agree to is issued within two business days of that reply, to the card or account the payment came from. We cannot send it anywhere else.
- Your bank then takes its own time — usually 5–10 business days for it to appear on a statement. That part is out of our hands.
- Refunds are made in the currency you were charged in. Where the amount shifts because exchange rates moved between the charge and the refund, that difference is the bank’s, not ours to make up.
If a refund has not appeared 10 business days after we told you it was sent, write again — we will chase it with the processor and send you the reference.
7. Who takes the payment
Pro is sold through Creem, our merchant of record. Creem is the seller on the transaction: it takes the payment, handles sales tax and VAT, and is the name that appears on your card statement rather than the word “Tabruns”. Card numbers are handled entirely by Creem and never reach our servers.
Cancellations and questions about a charge are still raised with us, at support@tabruns.com, and still follow the terms above — we instruct Creem and they return the money. One thing runs the other way, and you are entitled to know it: as the seller on the transaction, Creem can issue a refund of its own accord within 60 days of a purchase, whatever this page says. That is their published position as merchant of record, and we do not override it.
Creem also hosts the billing page reached from Settings → Plan → Manage billing, where you can change your card, download invoices and cancel without writing to anyone.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page removes a right the law gives you, and a policy cannot contract out of one. Consumers in the UK and the EU have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract, subject to the rules that apply to digital services and to anything you agreed to at checkout; other countries give their own rights. Where your local law gives you more than this page does, your local law wins.
Where a refund is required by law, we pay it. Raise it at support@tabruns.com and say so — that is a different request from the ones above, and it is answered on the law rather than on this policy.
9. Chargebacks
Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank. A refund from us takes a couple of days; a chargeback takes weeks, and while it is open the processor freezes the subscription, which usually cuts off the Pro access the dispute was about.
We do not fight honest disputes. If you have been charged for something you should not have been, the answer is a refund whichever route you take — the direct one is only faster for you.
10. When a payment fails
A failed renewal is retried over about a week, and we email you. If it never goes through, the subscription ends and the account drops to the free plan — we do not send it to a collections agency, and nothing you have is deleted. Fix the card and resubscribing takes a moment.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the version that applies to a charge is the one published when that charge was taken — a policy cannot be tightened underneath money you have already paid. Material changes are announced in the extension 30 days ahead, and earlier versions are available on request.
12. Contacting us
Refunds, cancellations, billing and anything on this page: support@tabruns.com. A person answers, usually within two business days. The contact form reaches the same inbox.
