Using Tabruns

Reading the plan before it runs

What the plan card shows, and what always stops for your go-ahead.

A plan is shown before anything happens, with the exact values it will type into each field.

Where each value came from

Every value carries its source, shown beside it — from your request, from a tab you attached, from the page itself, or inferred. A guess is visible as a guess.

What it is leaving alone

Tabruns asks the page which of its required fields are still empty. Any the plan does not cover are named on the card, so “it filled the form” never quietly means “it filled most of the form”.

Anything consequential waits for you

A plan containing a step that submits, publishes, sends or spends is named as such on the card and never starts itself — in Auto, in Ask, in Show, on the first round and on every continuation round. Starting it is the consent; you are not asked twice.

A spoken “go ahead” starts an ordinary plan, but never one with a submit or spend in it. That gate takes a hand.

After it runs

The receipt counts what actually landed, not what was attempted: a finished run asks the page whether the values it wrote are still there, because a write that reads back fine can be undone half a second later by a re-render. Undo is on the receipt.
