What counts as a run, and when it resets
Asking is free. A run is counted only when Tabruns does the work.
What is metered
A do-it-for-me run — Tabruns acting on the page for you. That is the only thing counted. (In the panel’s mode picker that mode is called Auto; see Auto, Ask and Show.)
A run is the whole task, not each click. “Set up this campaign” is one run even when it fills thirty fields across four screens, and a long task that takes several plan-and-act rounds still counts once, when it starts. So the free plan’s 25 runs are 25 tasks handed off each month, and Pro’s 250 are 250 — about 8 a day.
What is not
- Asking questions about a page.
- Guide mode, where it highlights and you type. Unlimited, always.
- Templates, which are ordinary asks with the sentence written for you.
- A step you declined, or one that was skipped because the page had changed.
When it resets
On the 1st of each month, on every plan. The free count is kept per browser profile, against an anonymous install ID — which is how the free allowance works without an account at all. Pro’s count follows your account, so it is the same allowance on every computer you sign into.
Running out
Nothing breaks. Questions and Guide mode carry on exactly as before; only automatic runs are paused until the reset or an upgrade. See “Out of free runs”.
