An estimate looks wrong
Read the notes under the estimate first. Most surprises are a value that wasn't on the page, or a fee missing from the price list.

- Read the notes under the estimate, then press See every plan check. Anything marked “Typical plan, not read” is a stand-in, not the patient's plan.
- Compare the coverage, deductible left and yearly maximum left with the portal. Correct any that differ.
- Check the network. In network should use the insurer's contracted fee; if the price list has none, your own fee is used and a note under the estimate says so.
- Look at each line's explanation under its name, such as “50% of $1,100 after $50 deductible”.
- If the plan has a limit the page shows but the panel didn't apply, open the claims history and press Read this page again.
Still wrong? Send us what the panel showed and what the portal said, with the patient's details left out, at support@tabruns.com. Please don't send screenshots with patient names, birth dates or member IDs.
The final amount is always the insurer's decision. For large treatment plans, a pre-treatment estimate from the insurer is still worth asking for.
