Estimate codes
Each estimate gets a short code, such as E-7K4Q, to match the handout or link with the note in the chart.

The code is printed under the estimate, after Reference, and on every breakdown, handout and link. Copy for chart copies it with the breakdown, so the chart note carries it.
It has no 0, O, 1, I, L or U, so it can be read over the phone without mix-ups. When a patient calls about an estimate, ask for the code and search your notes for it. For the past week, the same code finds it under Recent estimates in the panel on the computer that made it. Tabruns keeps no copy on its servers, so the chart note is the record.
