What Tabruns does and doesn't do

It does

• Turn the benefits page your staff already opened into a dollar estimate: what insurance should pay and what the patient owes
• Show where every number came from, and let staff correct any of them
• Give you a breakdown to paste into any office software, a printable handout and a patient link
• Keep the patient's name, birth date, member ID and every date on the office computer

It doesn't

• Sign in to insurer portals, store portal passwords, or check eligibility in bulk
• File claims or connect to your practice software. The breakdown is copied and pasted
• Handle secondary insurance or coordination of benefits between two plans
• Work out plans that charge a fixed copay per service. It does the math for plans that pay a percentage of the fee. See supported insurers and plans
• Guarantee payment. The insurer decides the final amount
• Replace a pre-treatment estimate from the insurer for large cases, or the good-faith estimate owed to self-pay patients
