Your price list

One list for the whole office, kept on your account: each service's code, name, your fee, and each insurer's contracted fee.

Updated November 4, 2026

Tabruns prices each treatment from your own list. You keep it on the Prices and insurers page of your dashboard at tabruns.com, and every signed-in side panel uses it. Prices aren't patient data, so they're stored with your account.

What each row holds

FieldWhat to put
CodeThe procedure code you bill, such as D2740. Staff can type it to add the treatment. A service added by name in the panel has no code until you add one here.
DescriptionYour own name for it, the way you'd say it to a patient. It's printed on the handout and patient link.
Office feeYour full price.
Contracted feeOne per in-network insurer: the fee that plan allows. Leave it blank if you don't have it.
KindExam, X-rays, cleaning, filling, crown, root canal, extraction, implant or other. Portals state limits by kind, such as “2 cleanings per year”.
Plans cover it asPreventive, basic or major. This picks the coverage percentage.
Paid at the rate ofFor fillings and crowns, the cheaper code a plan may pay instead. See downgrades.

Getting your list in

  • Import the fee schedule you already have, from Excel or CSV.
  • Or type it on the Prices and insurers page. Start with the 20 or 30 services you quote most.
  • Or price as you go. The first time staff add a service that isn't on the list, the panel asks What do you charge for a crown? (or whichever service) with your fee and, in network, the insurer's fee. Add to the estimate saves it to the office list for every computer.

An empty list never blocks the panel. After reading a page it shows the plan's coverage, and each service is priced the first time it's used.

To change a price during an estimate, press the pencil beside the line on the estimate. Type the new amount: it saves by itself a moment after you stop typing, for every computer, and this page shows it too.

Find a row with Find a code or name. Save changes saves the list and sorts it by code. Open side panels pick up changes within a minute.

Each computer also keeps a copy of the list, so estimates keep working if the internet drops for a while.

Tabruns ships no list of procedure codes or their official descriptions. The ADA licenses those, so you type the codes you use and describe them in your own words.
